Lot's of Things Going On...

I happened to look up at the date of my last post and about pooped my britches!(Not because of shock but because I had to go to the bathroom) It has been awhile since I last posted on my blog. Our computer is still down at our house so posting is virtually impossible.

Many things have happened since my last post. Townes has grown to a strapping young lad. He is about 16 pounds and 24 inches long. He has officially reached "lunker" status! He has also, finally, begun to smile and coo quite a bit. This morning I was trying to wake up so I could begin my pre-work rituals and Jamie laid him on my chest. He must have found it amusing that we were both in our diapers! He waved his arms wildly and screamed with joy as a steady stream of drool quickly trickled off my chest. It was a sight to see! I love that kid!

I auditioned for Nashville Star. I have been kicking around the idea of auditioning for this show since the first season. Every year I have come up with some reason not to do it. This year I did and I think I made to Nationals. I am still waiting for the official word. It should be interesting.

OK, so I exagerrated a little on the "Lot's of Things Going On..." line but it seems like a lot to me.
