Grady Baker "Master of the Double Diaper Change"

I have to start this post by saying that for every diaper I have changed Jamie has changed 15 or 30. (we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary yesterday so I am trying to continue to give credit where credit is due) If I thought that Townes was a poop machine when he was a newborn, Grady has out done him! Grady has developed an innovative new technique I call the Double Diaper Change. He poops, cries just a little bit until you change him and while still on the changing table he waits until the last tab has been pressed down on the new diaper and poops AGAIN!! It somehow seems that he and Townes have joined forces and coordinated their bowels to explode at precisely the same time. I feel bad for the trash guys. Those kids are already working as a team. Jamie and I have our work cut out for us.

The Baker Boys (Look Out Ladies)

I know, I know it has been over a year since we have posted anything on our lovely blog. The four of you who read this blog have waited long enough for news from the crazy Baker family. Well, here it goes... The most exciting news in our life is the addition of Grady James Baker (aka G Jimmy B). He was born August 18th and weighed 9lbs. 4oz. His crazy brother Townes is excited and very protective of his little brother. So protective that he rarely lets his mother take pictures of him. So far Grady has been an easy baby. He eats, sleeps and poops and when I say "poops" I mean "poops"! This kid will eat for ten minutes and poop for twenty. He's a real chip off the ole block!

Townes the Party Animal

Here are pictures from this past Sunday. Townes got to take a dip in Grandma J's baby pool. He loved being outside and being able to fun free without having me constantly at his heels. We had a great time!

Townes and I took advantage of the beautiful weather today and played at the park. He stayed so busy, and only occasionally stopped long enough to pick up a stick or point something out to me. We are in toddler mode, full swing, and it's a blast!

Cousins, all together for the first time! Eli recently turned 2, Townes is almost 16 months old, and Parker is 4 weeks old. What a crew! Grandma J calls them Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
